Samuel is an up and coming fine artist based in Scotland.

Having grown up in Devon and spent much time in the sea, Samuels soul has forged a deep root within landscapes, seas and skies, being his safe place of inspiration.

For Samuel Scotland delivers these elements in their finest beauty. With every changing season bringing a new pallet of colour and light to explore, and with such dramatic scenery never a dull moment of solice.

Although he cherishes his home in the South West and often returns for a dosage of its beauty, his ancestral family roots on his fathers side are in the highlands of Scotland a place he holds very dear to him.

ARTWORK

Samuels love and respect for the ‘old school’ style or more traditional impressionist fine art is heavily reflected in his own works.

His command of paint and the techniques he uses, reflects the homage he pays to those artist of the past that he most respects and treasures.

In his artworks his use of colour and his ability to capture landscapes using an impressionist style, thats married to a strong sense of realism, is truly beautifully captivating and very unique.

Introduction

My name is Samuel. I was

hi, my name is Samuel. I was born and raised in the Shire of North Devon. Since memory began, I’ve spent my time in the ocean surfing alongside a beautiful small community of like-minded individuals. I have been raised to treasurer, to monitor it and to respect it.

THE SEA

The sea in the sky hold of the greatest treasure trove of beauty known to man, and it’s ever changing nature, make it all the more important to cherish every moment of it. Surfing has taught me to be in tune with the weather systems and patterns, half of the sport itself is selecting the right conditions to optimise the sessions that you have in the water, and also to be very respectful and mindful of its true light in power, as it can easily be the demise of someone.

DEVON

The other side of North Devon has been the beauty of the land it’s forest, it’s blooms and it’s Rich biodiversity and beautiful landscapes. I have spent most of my life in continuous or. When all three things are combined throughout different stages of the year, they create profoundly beautiful experiences. Whether that be the raging sea is stormy, weather systems, battering, the desolate, wintry coastline or the pristine Golden sun sets of maze, full bloom, each Carrie, true beauty that I love and will never get bored of.

I have grown up very interested in lots of things from highly scientific fields to Permaculture and agroforestry. From singing and music to painting and designing.

Over the last 10 years, I have had a full circle transition each year, getting more and more back into my painting. The last three years I have started to finally see the Per pathway for my art works. I will look for it has started to blossom again.

I decided to turn a page to chapter 2 of my life and head up to Scotland to 1025, at the top of Ben Nevis, and pay my dues to my Client For fathers before me before undergoing a journey around Scotland, to seek inspiration from the landscapes and the folks along the way. My first phase of the journey took me a long stunning West Coast and Western Isles 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 from which I have fallen in love.
